Change of Mind 7-Day Return Guide

That's why we've implemented a 7-day returns and exchanges policy following the delivery date as indicated on the tracking information. This gives you ample time to try out your new scissors or other products and ensure they meet your expectations.

  • Test your scissors or other product and if you're not satisfied, initiate a return within 7-days from the delivery date of your first order.
  • Ensure the product and its contents are in good condition. Remember, don't dispose of anything.
  • Contact us at support@japanscissors.com.au or fill out our Returns Form.
  • Please note, this does not cover warranty issues, free products, or promotional items.

Before Opening a Return Request, Check These Common Scissor Issues:

Returns Summary

  • Returns within 7 days of the delivery date for change of mind.
  • Warranty coverage available for manufacturer defects.
  • For change of mind returns, ensure the original packaging and contents are in good condition, with no physical damage or buildup on the scissors. Two images of the scissors - one with the blades closed and a second with the blades opened - may be required for verification.
  • Product exchanges, store credits, or refunds available upon successful verification of return eligibility.
  • Replacements and Exchanges have to be sent to the original shipping address on the order.
  • Shipping insurance fees are non-refundable as this service is completed upon shipment.

Important Notes About Shipping Insurance

  • Route Shipping Protection and other insurance fees are non-refundable once an order has been shipped.
  • Insurance is considered a completed service regardless of whether a claim is made.
  • This applies to all return types, including change of mind and warranty returns.

Steps to Return Your Product:

  1. Initiate the return process through our Returns Form or by emailing us at support@japanscissors.com.au.
  2. Our team will swiftly verify your eligibility and, if approved, will provide return instructions.
  3. Upon receiving your return, we'll inspect the packaging, contents, and the product. If everything is in good and resellable condition, we can proceed with the following options:
    1. Exchange your product
    2. Provide a store credit
    3. Issue a refund to the original payment method
